If I saw this drop, I would pass to a Ret pally or DK without hesitation.this weapon is MUCH better for them. "In my opinion this is just too overpowered. Most would say that this is best for a DK (which I can agree with) but their reasoning is wrong. They think that because is the only decent two-hander that DKs have that they can add defense rating to.īut now, you don't need defense (?) so that doesn't really apply. My response will be that if the sword is "overpowered" for a DK tank, then the tank should take it. Even if Bullshifter is right and DKs now have tools to help them tank better and get more defense, that doesn't mean that you deprive them of a good tanking weapon. Tanks or healers > DPS for priority in getting overlap gear, not because DPS are unimportant but because their gear is usually less specialised and allows far more leeway. Why on earth would you want to nerf your own tank? Any single DPS (of the three in a five man or more in a raid) is only sometimes helping to keep the group alive, as opposed to tanks and healers, who always help keep the group alive.
